Enjoy a scrumptious Cinnamon Bun and Mimosas Brunch for up to six guests, hosted by board member Tom Soma and Susanne Olin at their contemporary craftsman home in NE Portland.
You won't want to miss out on Tom's cinnamon buns. Perfected over nearly three decades of baking experience, they are Tom's own (secret) recipe. In a blind taste test competition sponsored by Ronald MacDonald House Charities, Tom received winning votes from over half of the 50 official taste testers. His buns beat out those of the celebrated chefs of the MAC Club, the pastry chef of Portland’s Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School, and Dave (of “Dave’s Killer Bread”)—who made his Sindog rolls. One “unofficial” taster—the son of Le Cordon Blue’s pastry chef—also voted for Tom's buns. To which his mother, the chef, said, jokingly, “I’m going to kick his buns when we get home!”
The perfect Alexana wine experience awaits with a Magnum of Ravena Vineyard Estate's 2015 Pinot Noir and a VIP tour & tasting for four. The lovely 80-acre vineyard and winery sits in a prime spot off the valley floor in the Red Hills of Dundee and has 18 distinct soil types. Enjoy sweeping views from the tasting room and deck while you taste a range of pours!
